Daughter of top Tijjaniya cleric now a medical doctor
Accra- Dr Nafisa Abdul Wadud Bature, the daughter of Kumasi-based Tijaniyya Cleric, Abdul Wadud Haroun, is now a medical doctor.
Dr Abdul Wadud Bature was among 461 Medical and Dental practitioners who the Ghana Medical and Dental Council inducted at a ceremony on October 29, 2022.
It was a joyous occasion for the cleric, his family and well-wishers who attended the ceremony to support the medical doctor.
She pursued her educational career in China at the Jinzhou Medical University where she graduated in 2021.
She got married on December 11, 2021, to Haroun Alhaji Bature Adam at a ceremony witnessed by the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu.
Sheikh Abdul Wadud Haroun Ciessey is Ghana’s National President of the Tijjaniya Muslim Movement.
