Dr Amin Adam hands over 300-capacity dormitory to Anbariyya Islamic Institute

Tamale: Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, Member of Parliament for Karaga, has announced the completion and handing over of a 300-capacity bed dormitory to the Anbariyya Islamic Institute in Tamale.
Sharing the update in a Facebook post about the project handed over in his absence, the former and first Muslim finance minister of Ghana said, “My grandfather Afa Tanko led the team to receive the keys.”
He expressed the belief that the project which started with a visit to Afa Seidu would go a long way to support the development of education in Tamale and the North generally.
“Sadly my senior brother, Hajj Mufatahu Adam, who was the contractor for the project, did not live to see the commissioning of this beautiful building he put up.
“May Allah reward him with the blessings this project brings and grant him jannatul Firdous. Aameen,” he said.
The Anbariya Islamic Institute, based in Tamale, Ghana, is a prominent Sunni Islamic educational, religious, and cultural organisation founded in the 1960s by the late Sheikh Yusuf Sualihu Ajura.
