Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia will host the sixth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition from November 8 to 11 to advance preparations for the 2027 pilgrimage and improve services for pilgrims.

The event, organised by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in collaboration with the Pilgrim Experience Program, a Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, will bring together more than 520 local and international organisations from the government, private and nonprofit sectors.

It will be held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the conference would mark a key stage in preparations for the upcoming 1448 AH Hajj season, with discussions focusing on contracts, operational and regulatory arrangements, new initiatives, partnerships and seasonal readiness.

The gathering will bring together officials, leaders and specialists from across the Hajj services sector to examine ways to strengthen service delivery and develop the systems supporting the annual pilgrimage.

Discussions will be organised around three main themes: infrastructure and operational services, empowerment and integration, and sustainable development.

The sixth edition will feature more than 15 zones and programmes, including the Hajj Conference, Hajj Council, workshops, an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Zone, a hackathon and a Business Center.

An Awareness and Training Forum will also be introduced for the first time, alongside dedicated hubs for technology, healthcare, media and aviation.

A special meeting for heads of Hajj affairs offices will provide a platform for national pilgrimage administrations to discuss service delivery, strengthen institutional relationships and explore partnerships.

The accompanying exhibition, covering more than 67,000 square metres, will feature service providers and organisations from more than 150 countries.

It will showcase services and solutions across aviation, transport, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure, technology, innovation, workforce development, investment and business development.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has invited organisations, specialists and interested individuals to register for the conference and participate in its programmes.

The annual event forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to develop the Hajj services ecosystem, improve service quality and support the objectives of Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

The conference is expected to provide opportunities for dialogue, the presentation of new solutions and the development of partnerships among organisations involved in serving pilgrims.
