Imam Husein Promoted to Chief Superintendent
Accra- Imam Husein Abdur Rahim Husein of the Ghana Police Mosque has been promoted from Superintendent of Police (SUPOL) to Chief Superintendent of Police.
This was based on administrative requirements subject to fulfilling provisions in Regulation 37 of the Police Service Regulations 2012 (C.I. 76).
His promotion comes four years after moving from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police (SUPOL).
He is currently the Imam of the Ghana Police Mosque Cantonment in charge of Islamic Affairs in the Police Administration.
Imam Husein holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Islamic and Arabic Studies from the Islamic University of Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a Master of Philosophy (Mphil) in Religion from the University of Ghana.
He also obtained a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
