Accra – Information reaching the Ghanaian Muslim indicates that a Managing Partner at Legal Relief Trust, Seidu H. Nasigri, the legal representative of the Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu has been attacked in a robbery operation this dawn.

He was on his way to Yagaba in the North East Region to register in the ongoing nationwide voter registration exercise.

While details of the incident remain sketchy, it has been confirmed that he sustained gunshot injury during the raid.

He has been transported via an ambulance to a nearby health facility for medical treatment.

The armed robbers also robbed about 30 passengers of their money and valuable items.
