Saudi Arabia sets Sunday for 2025 Eid ul Fitr
Makkah: The Supreme Court’s crescent committee of Saudi Arabia has affirmed the sighting of the Shawwal crescent moon, marking an end to the 2025 Ramadan fast that lasted for 29 days.
This means the Eid Al Fitr for 1446/2025 will be held tomorrow, Sunday, March 30, 2025, across the Kingdom.
Sighting of the crescent began after 6:12 in the evening in about 20 observatories in the Kingdom.
These include the Tabuk, Tumair and Sudair observatories.
Sheikh Abdur Rahman As Sudais will be the Imam and Khateeb for Eid Al Fitr Prayers in Masjid Al Haram, Makkah.
