Daughter of A B A Fuseini adjudged best law student

Accra: Latifa Teiya Fuseini, a daughter of former Member of Parliament (MP) for Sagnarigu, Alhassan Bashir Alhassan Fuseini, was called to the Bar and named the 2025 Overall Best Graduating Student at the Ghana School of Law.

She received the John Mensah Sarbah Memorial Prize, the highest honour for a top graduating student, and the Conveyancing Award for excellence in preparing legal documents for property transfers.

She was among 824 new lawyers whom the General Legal Council enrolled at a ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday.

Latifa, an alumna of the law faculty at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology also attended Achimota Senior High School in Accra and completed in 2019.

It was a proud moment for her and the father, who recently served as the head of corporate affairs for the Ghana Hajj Taskforce.

He was also a journalist and worked as a night editor with the Daily Graphic newspaper before he was voted to become an MP for his constituency.
