Ghana Hajj officials set March 13 deadline for Hajj payments

Accra: Ghanaian Muslims interested in embarking on the sacred Hajj pilgrimage have to make payment before March 13, 2025.
The Ghana Hajj Taskforce announced the deadline for Hajj package payment in a press statement.
This comes after the recent announcement of a reduction in the 2025 Hajj package fare from GH¢75,000 to GH¢62,000, offering the much-needed financial relief to potential pilgrims.
The task force has urged all prospective pilgrims and accredited Hajj agents to expedite payments and complete all preparatory procedures within the stipulated timeline.
“No extension will be made to this deadline, and therefore both would-be pilgrims and agents are admonished to operate with this deadline in mind, as this is in the supreme interest of all.
“Hajj agents are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this initiative to streamline the process for their clients,” the statement highlighted.
The deadline was in compliance with directives from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage process for this year.
In its commitment to facilitating a seamless Hajj experience, the taskforce said it has implemented measures to assist fully paid pilgrims in acquiring their passports with ease.
The task force also assured pilgrims of providing world-class services, ensuring that all Ghanaian pilgrims enjoy a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling journey.
Payment are to be made in a StanbicBank Cedi Account with the number, “9040006891211” and the name “Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana” or a dollar account at the same bank with the same name and an account number “9040006891424”.
Ghana has a hajj quota of 5000 pilgrims for this year.
